Proximity door acces controlers are used on the majority of campus buildings.  Your BlasterCard is the key!  Just wave your BlasterCard in front fo the grey HID boxes to unlock the door marked with the BlasterCard access sticker.

All active students get automatic access to Volk gym during open hours.  They are 6:00 am to 10:00 pm, Monday-Friday, 10:00 am to 2:00 pm on Saturday, and 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Sunday.

For students living in the residence halls or sorority houses, access to their respective buildings is also assigned upon move-in.  The external doors of the residence halls are locked 24 hours a day.  The external doors of the soroity houses are locked 24 hours a day.  Access during locked hours is only by using a valid BlasterCard.

Mines Park residents will have access to the Community Centers and laundry rooms based on their lease agreements.  Locking of the Community Centers at Mines Park will be implemented in the early part of summer.

Any academic building or lab access can be requested at Facilities Management.  Their access request forms are located on their website.
