PROGRAM SUMMARY
Funds are allocated for Safety
and Environment Related Minor Capital Improvement (SERMCI) projects on the CSM campus
during each fiscal year. SERMCI funds are intended to pay for safety
and environmental protection related projects or
equipment that are brought to the attention of the University Safety
Committee by divisions, departments, or other offices at CSM.
SERMCI projects are those with an
"intermediate" price tag of $1,000 to $10,000. The cost of an SERMCI project
generally exceeds the capacity of an organizational unit's operating
budget, but is less than the cost of a major capital improvement.
